Improve Your Entire Smile with PDO Lift and Smooth Threads
Fight aging or improve the shape of your smile with the natural healing power of your own body. Lift and Smooth threads are a non-surgical, minimally invasive way to improve the look of your skin and lips. We inject a synthetic absorbable thread made of polydioxanone (PDO) under the skin. As the body absorbs this thread over 4 to 6 months, it stimulates your body to produce more collagen. As the process continues, your skin tightens from the inside. Lifting threads provide a more instant lift impact to the face, while smoothing threads improve your skin’s appearance more gradually. Both procedures can be done in about an hour with no or minimal downtime needed afterward.
Face Lifting Threads for Instant Results
PDO lifting threads provide instant results and short recovery time. After the initial results, the procedure will stimulate your body to produce more natural collagen. Over the next 4 to 6 months, you’ll gradually notice an increase in facial volume, tighter and better looking skin and an improved smile. Results last 1 to 2 years and can be combined with other facial esthetic treatments for a more comprehensive cosmetic improvement to your smile.
Smoothing Threads for more gradual results a better facial appearance
PDO smoothing threads use the same technology to improve the look of your face, but with more gradual changes in mind. The threads are placed in a hashtag formation under areas of the skin where smoothing is desired. Over the next 4 to 6 months, the skin will smooth out gradually as your body reacts to the treatment and naturally builds more collagen under the skin. These smoothing threads are most useful in improving the looks of the lips and cheeks.
