- Dr. BriAnna Schraw, DMD
Dr. Schraw is originally from West Columbia, South Carolina. She has been fascinated with teeth since she was 3 years old. Dr. Schraw earned a B.S. in Biology from M.U.S.C. Collegeof Dental Medicine in Charleston. After graduating from M.U.S.C. in 2002, Dr. Schraw worked as an associate for the next three years. She came to the realization that anxiety and fear of going to the dentist play a large role in most patients’ experience and that dental treatment in their past was a primary reason for patient dis-satisfaction and anxiety. This motivated her to open her own practice, Smiles By Design, in the BaxterVillage community in Fort Mill in August 2005. Her mission for each patient is to create a gentle, positive dental experience. She does this by using the latest in dental technology to reduce patients time spent in the dental chair and make treatment as simple and non-invasive as possible.
Dr. Schraw has completed many continuing education courses with leaders in both the dental and facial esthetics fields so she can treat and enhance not only teeth, but can give her patients the total facial esthetics and complete smiles that they want and ask for. She continually stays abreast of the latest techniques, materials, and technology.
Currently, Dr. Schraw and her two daughters, Jaidon and Kyleigh, live in Tega Cay. She enjoys traveling to places of historical interest, playing with her children and pets (2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 fish), and exercising (weight-lifting,
speed-walking, and running.)
